A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM FORMED ALONG THE U.S. EASTERN SEABOARD
SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND TRACKED NORTHEASTWARD SUNDAY NIGHT REACHING
NOVA SCOTIA MONDAY MORNING.
DURING THE DAY SUNDAY A PRE-SYSTEM AREA OF SNOW GAVE LIGHT
SNOWFALL AMOUNTS TO MUCH OF NEW BRUNSWICK AND THE SNOW BECAME
MIXED WITH FREEZING DRIZZLE LATE IN THE DAY. SUNDAY NIGHT HEAVY SNOW
WAS REPORTED ACROSS SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE PROVINCE WITH MIXED
PRECIPITATION OVER THE FUNDY REGION. OVER GRAND MANAN ISLAND
TEMPERATURES WERE ABOVE THE FREEZING MARK THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE
PRECIPTIATION EVENT.
