Snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.

A low pressure system south of Cape Cod will approach the Maritimes today. The low will track northeastward near the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia tonight to lie over Newfoundland on Thursday.

Snow associated with this system has spread across Nova Scotia and will continue this afternoon and tonight and taper to flurries early Thursday morning over these regions.

Snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 centimetres are now expected for all areas of the province except coastal areas of Shelburne and Queens Counties.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
