Coastal DownEast Maine, Far Eastern Maine, Far Northern Maine,

Interior DownEast Maine, North Woods Maine and Penobscot Valley

Maine.


.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.


Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.


Accumulating snow is possible on Monday followed by the coldest

temperatures of the season. Hazardous travel conditions are possible

Monday afternoon and evening.

conditions according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Rainfall warning in effect for:


Queens County

Rain, at times heavy, is expected.


Heavy rain expected Sunday night.


Total Rainfall: 30 to 40 mm possibly reaching or exceeding 50 mm.


Time span: Overnight Sunday into Monday morning.


Remarks: Rain is expected to begin Sunday evening becoming heavy at times. Generally 30 to 40 mm is expected but areas under heavy bands of rain may see accumulations of 50 millimetres or more by Monday morning. The rain will taper off during Monday morning.


Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.


Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
