.SYNOPSIS AND DROUGHT INTENSITY...

THE ONLY REMAINING AREAS ACROSS NORTHERN AND EASTERN MAINE WITH
MODERATE DROUGHT (D1) ARE ACROSS NORTHERN SOMERSET COUNTY, A VERY
SMALL PORTION OF NORTHWEST PISCATAQUIS COUNTY, AND A VERY SMALL
PORTION OF AROOSTOOK COUNTY TO THE WEST OF CLAYTON LAKE. AS THE
GROWING SEASON HAS ENDED ACROSS THESE AREAS, THIS WILL BE THE 
LAST DROUGHT INFORMATION STATEMENT. IF CONDITIONS WORSEN, THE 
PRODUCT WILL BE UPDATED ACCORDINGLY.

Frost Possible Overnight in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island

Frost advisory in effect for:

Halifax Metro and Halifax County West
Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas.

Minimum temperatures: minus 2 to plus 2 (coolest in low lying areas).

Location: Nova Scotia.

Time span: tonight and Sunday morning.

Remarks: Patchy frost is expected to form again tonight as clear skies and light winds coincide with cool temperatures, especially in low lying areas.

Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
