Frost possible throughout Mainland Nova Scotia

4:05 PM ADT Monday 30 September 2019
Frost advisory in effect for:

Halifax Metro and Halifax County West
A cool and dry air mass combined with mainly clear evening skies and light winds will make conditions favourable for the formation of patchy frost tonight, particularly over higher inland elevations.

Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
