Discussion.
A frontal disturbance brought freezing rain to central and northern
portions of the province Saturday. Milder temperatures were reported
over southernmost areas, and strong winds over eastern regions.

Discussion.
A disturbance brought waves of heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong
winds to Nova Scotia late Saturday. A cluster of thunderstorms
travelled from the Gulf of Maine to western Nova Scotia early in the
evening, reaching Halifax in the middle of the evening and then
Eastern Shore. It produced hourly rainfall rates of 20 mm per hour.
The combination of very mild temperatures, rainfall and strong winds
quickly melted all of the significant snowfall received earlier in
the week.
