Time span: beginning Sunday morning and ending overnight Sunday into Monday.
Remarks: Snow will intensify during the day Sunday, with the highest accumulations expected Sunday evening. Gusty easterly winds will accompany the snow producing blowing snow and reduced visibilities. Conditions are expected to improve early Monday.
Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
Winter storm warnings are issued when multiple types of severe winter weather are expected to occur together.

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and
12 inches with locally higher amounts over southern New Hampshire
and far southwestern Maine. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph,
especially along the coast with blowing and drifting snow.
* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, and western Maine
and central, northern, and southern New Hampshire.
* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Significant snowfall and periods of heavy snowfall rates
will combine with low visibility to create very dangerous driving
conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce
visibility.
