A low pressure system will approach the region today and then
Stall near Yarmouth on Wednesday. Rain associated with this
System will move into Southwestern New Brunswick by this afternoon
and spread northeastward throughout the day. The rain will be heavy
at times and will persist into Wednesday. Current indications suggest
that the rainfall amounts may reach warning criteria especially for
southernmost areas of the province. The worrisome issue is that
The ground is already quite saturated from post tropical storm Andrea
and other recent rainfall events.
The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings as
warnings may be required or extended.
