forecast to weaken into a trough of low pressure today as the new
cyclone south of Nova Scotia takes over and intensifies. Wet snow
across northern New York and interior New England will slowly
taper off and become more intermittent today into tonight.
Downwind of Lake Erie, 1 to 3 inches of lake-effect snow is
forecast with locally higher amounts possible.
This will be the last storm summary issued by the Weather
Prediction Center for this event. Please refer to your local

The low pressure system centered over southwestern Maine is
forecast to weaken into a trough of low pressure today as the new
cyclone south of Nova Scotia takes over and intensifies. Wet snow
across northern New York and interior New England will slowly
taper off and become more intermittent today into tonight.
Downwind of Lake Erie, 1 to 3 inches of lake-effect snow is
forecast with locally higher amounts possible.
This will be the last storm summary issued by the Weather
Prediction Center for this event. Please refer to your local
National Weather service office for additional information.
