An intense trough of low pressure will cross Nova Scotia tonight and Monday. Strong southeasterly winds gusting to 90 km/h will spread across the province ahead of the trough then diminish as it passes.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.

Rainfall, combined with melting snow, is expected. The frozen ground has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall.

An intense trough of low pressure will cross New Brunswick tonight and into Monday. Rain, at times heavy, will begin this evening and end during the morning Monday. Total amounts of 25 to 40 millimetres are expected, with the heavier amounts along the Fundy coast.
Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
